This thread is really funny.
Thorne Melcher = Turd Ferguson
Mandy Musselwhit, these are not real names. This is fake news, clickbait.
Lesbo art sells good.

I'm convinced 99% of these huge NFT transactions are celebrity fund managers simply spreading around investment risk amongst the Uber rich who never even look at where their money goes, e.g athletes and celebrities. They'll never see a penny in returns but the investors won't know or care until they go broke. Managers can just blame the stock market.

How does this even happen? Even if we assume a high monthly payment of 2k, they started missing payments well before February

Good lord. Look good for them, glad they got to keep their home, but seriously people will buy any stupid shite for no reason. That’s why the personal finances in this country are so fricked.
Also there are plenty of jobs available, if she didn’t find a single job in months it’s because she either didn’t want to or was way too picky. Fast food workers here in Charleston were being offered $17-$19 an hour just to start. I’m sure they were offering more than that at a Chick-fil-a in suburban Atlanta.

I guess my question is? How is someone paying for surgery if they can’t pay mortgage?
Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs lists gender reassignment surgery far above shelter in the order of importance, bruh.

Welp, there is definitely a bubble.

It's all fake. You don't get rich quick then run to CNBC to tell them your name, where you live, all your financial information and exactly how you did it.
Oh and it saved their house. Don't worry about the details. The point is it could do that for you too! That's why this "story" exists.

How can you be 35k behind on a 300k mortgage? Did they never make a mortgage payment?

Posted on 1/24/22 at 8:08 pm to stendulkar
Didn't read the entire thread but now they won't be able to pay the taxes on the gains next year and be back to square one.

was perfect timing too. The couple owed $35,587 in mortgage back-payments
Not a feel good story, frick them and frick their easy out.

They made $120k doing something they’ll never be able to replicate. They basically won a tiny lottery. Rich? It’s a story because it’s topical. They’re still absolutely fricked long term.

I can mostly understand the boom in art photography NFTs. I say mostly because I don't believe the value is real. Literally over night you took something that was perceived by the general public as next-to-worthless, or at least to have a limited, very niche appreciation and value, to pieces being worth thousands or tens of thousands of dollars.
I'm not convinced that is real value, nor that it will hold its value as "collectors" seem to believe. I've yet to see much talk of resale value and profits being made on resale, which is an apparent NFT draw for photographers as they will get 10% of any future sale.
All of that said, that's in regards to legitimate, high-end photography. I don't at all understand the shitty cartoon NFT bullshite. That just blows my mind. There seems to be nothing of tangible value there. There is no real talent. There should be no real value. Unless it is just a way to harbor some money in crypto, I don't get it.

I saw a story about some guy in his early 20s from Indonesia who took a picture of himself every day for a few years and then he decided to sell them as NFTs, he sold them for like $3 each and made close to a million.
I own crypto, but this is why I can't take NFTs serious. Let me rephrase, this is why I haven't decided to buy any NFTs. I need to come up with something and sell them.

Sooooo what keeps a person from making more of these things? Like the gubment prints dollar bills?
These are even mooooore non-fungible.
And if we sell a million, we can BOTH swap genders and adopt little aids babies of every race and open a pit bull rescue!

Please don’t spend my tax dollars on NFT’s
Posted on 1/24/22 at 8:29 pm to stendulkar
Honestly don't even understand the whole purpose/value of NFT's but props to them cashing in. My buddies college and current roommate in NYC apparently makes more selling NFT's than his investment banking salary.

Something tells me that would not be a viable option, otherwise pics would have been posted by now.
