I hope he is back w/ her & clean. Turnpike needs to get back together, crank out another album, & tour (w/ EF under close supervision) again.

I mean, using your phone while driving is terrible, dont get me wrong... But there are few things on Earth worse than people who drink and drive... I should know, since i drove drunk/buzzed many, many times when i was younger... it’s a pure miracle i never got a DUI or worse, never wiped out a family ... But my attitude now is frick those selfish arseholes, they deserve to rot, just like i would have deserved to rot if things had taken a tragic turn back then.

I've lived in several different states and drunk driving is treated so flippantly. Some even wear it like a badge of honor, "man I drive s0o00o0 much better drunk!" All proud and posting pictures on Facebook while they're sipping on a "road beer." frick those people and the lives they destroy.

100% agree.

I cant believe there isnt more of a stigma in this country about drinking and driving in 2019... It really is an epidemic; I’ve been affected several times just in my own family and circle of friends by the results of drinking and driving.. some people i’ve known didnt make it, another is a quadriplegic .. it needs to be criminalized more; not ‘drinking’ per se, hell, live it up, get fricked up every night for all i care- just the part where people mix it with driving.

Many studies have shown that texting/phone use is as dangerous as drinking and driving.

I have no problem believing that... But the poster i was responding to said that using your phone while driving is *worse* than drinking and driving... Both are reprehensible.

My mother went to Taos High. I drove her to her 50 year reunion a few years ago. Taos is awesome.

Sorry for that poor 16 year old and her family.

Grade A narcissist. Not only did she kill the 16 year old, but she left her own young daughter without a mother.

I used to do this many years ago in my college age youth. Damn I'm glad I survived it.

Edit: And I didn't hurt anyone else.
