Just know, if you say yes you are wrong.

An actual Ironman course so open water swim and on an actual bike, not a spin bike

I don't know if I have swam 2.4 miles total in my life

ETA: my FIL has done a half ironman at 55 years old.

In 3 days? Maybe.

In the 17 hour time limit? Not a chance in hell.

The run and bike ride I could pull off. Not worried about that.

The swim? I would probably drown.

is there where you tell us none of us could, but you can?

if so, can we just go ahead and get that part out of the way?

Have to use one of those thick arse wet suits so you basically float.

25ish years ago, with training, yes. In one day (with the swim being the most difficult thing).

Today. No.

Have you ever sat in a bike saddle for 6-8 hours? IF you don’t give yourself rhabdo, your gooch would be so sore you wouldn’t be able to walk.

That wasn’t the question.

You didn’t ask if I would regret it or if it would hurt.

You asked if I could finish it in 3 days.

That is 1 day per event.

My normal walking speed would complete the 26 mile portion in no time.

Maybe.

The swimming would get me.

I'd could probably walk the 26 miles and bike the century over the course of a couple of days. But I'd drown on the swim.

Most people that say yes are lying, but do you expect people to be honest behind a keyboard?
