Is this your thought or has this been said?
The number is a total pull it out of my arse random thought.Could be anything at this point.
The rest of it is from reports coming out of Wuhan yesterday.
The two week thing is me considering the reports of a 10 day to symptoms rate plus four days before we get wind of it on the OT lounge. lol
I think we'll know whether we've got a monster or not in two weeks.

That is a very outdated graphic considering we are over 4500 infected now...blowing past the SARs rate

How is the traffic between China and India? Light?
I’d imagine very light, however with CNY, I could see a lot of interaction happening in a place like Kuala Lumpur.

And still all cases from outside China are people who were in/near Wuhan?

That we know of thus far. Long period where it's not symptomatic and IS contagious. Gonna be a couple weeks before we really know. Well, assuming we know when they came in. Could be right now for second generation infections. We don't have enough information at this point. But two weeks at the latest. By then we could be on third and fourth gen though.
Assume it's bad.

What is amazing and scary at the same time is that there isn't one reported confirmation on the entire continent of Africa. The same continent that has hundreds of thousands of Chinese citizens living there.
Welp scratch that graph as its outdated. Ivory Coast reports its first Coronovirus patient.

Do we have any examples of adults who tested positive and never got sick or only had mild symptoms?
Posted on 1/27/20 at 10:06 pm to Captain Rumbeard
Was just curious. I also believe there may be deceased in homes.

According to one of the releases by WHO to medical professionals...
Yes; there are mild cases and cases with no symptoms. Carriers only.
What WHO did not say in their release is...
Scanning for fever at airports doesn’t cut it.

Posted on 1/27/20 at 10:45 pm to Tunasntigers92

Why do you fear for that communist state?
Posted on 1/27/20 at 10:50 pm to Tunasntigers92
Because I have traveled their regularly over the last 15 years. Have a lot of expat friends there as well as locals.
