Exactly.
I also know about WHO and also surprised nothing has been said.
Can anyone confirm they are building an additional hospital of 1300? Saw this, a few times last night but didn't see credible sources.

Agreed. And in a pretty limited time frame.

I’m hoping a doctor can review those xrays and med report and give us their take in plain language.

The article mostly just discusses their methodology and logic for determining the new virus as the cause of this pneumonia.
One of the three patients died and another one had to be put on mechanical ventilation which I assume means they were intubated.
I wish they discussed treatment more

I hope it's not as bad as some think, including myself, but I think it's worse than what's reported.
A BBC show, This Morning, had an interview with an expat living in a suburb in Wuhan and he seemed unafraid. Said he was following the advice and staying indoors as much as possible but there was still traffic from people doing things and life was happening as usual.
1st bit but the 2nd bit is also helpful

It came from the People's Daily, which is the CCP's official paper, which is planned to be completed within half a month. The first emergency hospital is designed for 1,000 beds, the 2nd will be 1,300.

I saw an article about it, but don't remember where. Said they are hoping to have it finished in something like 10 days. That should be interesting.

Okay. So this is another thing that makes it interesting. Building a 1000 patient building in response and now planning a 1300 additional building. So that would mean that whatever the 1000 building can do, they need double +.

The Harvard paper linked previously said expect 200k infections in another week. There were a lot of assumptions/unknowns on how bad it really is there.

Amazing. An interview with somebody actually on the ground there and not some random hashtag source.

Like tent “buildings” or “a real building”??

You're seeing the best and worst of authoritarian government - building a 25k Sq ft hospital in 6 days,
Let’s be careful what we call a “hospital”. I wouldn’t be surprised if this isn’t more than a glorified tent city. I’m a little skeptical that they could lay a foundation, plumbing, electrical, gas, oxygen lines etc. For a fully functioning hospital in 7 days but maybe I’m wrong

That blue exponential curve needs to go on ahead and take a sharp right.

The most likely scenario. I would be surprised to see any hard buildings outside of pre-fab/shipping containers. Maybe some trailers.
But, if anyone was going to build a hard building hospital in a week, it would probably be the Chinese

It’s a viral pneumonia. Treatment is supportive care until the virus runs its course.

They have 2 confirmed antivirals to have efficiency, with 3 more they expect to work but are pending testing
