There’s a saying that young Americans trade their health for money and that older Americans trade their money for health.
There’s definitely a balance. If you don’t grind when you’re young you may not be able to retire at reasonable age. You certainly don’t want to be doing a job you hate in your 70s.

We are in a down period and are definitely a lower tier sec program. Still have a higher ceiling in football than mizzou.
Just like we were shitty in basketball for like 2 decades. Probably worse than mizzou in that time but we still had a higher ceiling. Mizzou is not sec level at anything. Has never won a sec championship in any sport of significance.

We don’t have the 14th best AD in the SEC. Much less the country.
Basketball for sure. It’s much harder to win a natty in basketball than baseball.
We’ll win a baseball championship at some point. May need to go through a few coaches to get there but the fan support is too good compared to the average program.
Basketball is a bit tougher. It’s been 30 years since we’ve been to a final four. We’ve been a lot better the last few years but still a long ways away from winning it all.

If you can control it sometimes a couple of drinks helps me relax and put things in perspective.
Like if you and the BJ machine split a bottle of wine on the patio at the end of the week talk through the week it can be therapeutic.
