Might have been a good matchup for us. They seem to struggle against quality lefties. Our righties haven’t lasted very long against them.
Having said that Carter Rutenbar has been a pleasant surprise. He’s plate discipline is very good. That type of stuff wins games. It could be that we’re finding the right players and getting better.

He’s not wrong. Most of these hospitals are run by RNs with MBAs from shite schools. They answer to boards of community members that at best are ignorant or at worse getting soft kickbacks from the county hospital.
The administrators at these hospitals will burn money to stay in control and keep their loyalists in power.

We’ve looked like arse so far. We’re not devoid of talent though.
My only hope is that maybe this team is built for warmer weather. We’ve seen our elite pitching teams fall apart when the breaking balls don’t have as much bite and the balls starts carrying a little more.
