What is funny, let the trash man disappear and see how quickly the world devolves into chaos.

Let’s invest the least on the people who have more impact on society than virtually any other profession!! On the contrary, they need far more
pay and far more expectations

How does your fun little graphic work for the conservative teacher that pays taxes like everyone else, doesn’t get paid more, and doesn’t give a cent to the Democratic Party?

You mean all 0.02% of them?

Again with this teacher hero bullshite. Even the best teachers can't do shite with lazy parents that let their kids miss 1/5 of the school year, and can't even bother to teach their crumb snatchers how to use safety scissors before Kindergarten.

But yeah, pay the education major that is teaching biology, that doesn't have a degree in biology, chemistry, astronomy, or physics as if they're the cream of the crop.

Expectations, based on what? Teacher efficacy testing that the unions have fought for decades? Jog on.

You’d be surprised, especially the further out you get from the cities.

Sorry, but $2500 with a college degree a month after deductions to babysit kids is absurd. Most teachers have 2 jobs.

I know there are perfectly normal teachers. I’m fortunate that I live in a small town with a great school where I know many of the teachers and they’re great, even Christian women.

But let’s be honest. Radical leftists have purposely infiltrated and taken over the education system in this country.

They’re responsible for multiple generations of kids receiving little to no real education while being indoctrinated with radical leftist Marxist ideology.

(You can downvote it all you want, but what you can’t do is deny it)

Nah, just the threat of electrocution, toxic gas, or fires. Or, making the wrong move and causing one of those for others.

Someone else is downvoting.

Those two morons don’t represent all teachers. They’re union presidents and I understand they have power…not denying that.

But if you get off social media and out into the real world (as you mentioned with your town’s school system), you’ll realize that they don’t represent all teachers.

Great point. An E-2 working a carrier deck (or anywhere else) makes $2698 a month before taxes. And they're still far more competent at their jobs than the shitty (most) teachers. Cause people would die otherwise, not just be offended.

If you wanna honor somebody…. You honor the trash man for sure.
And they don’t get paid as much as some think.

I’ll counter your anecdotal social media post with my own anecdotal account.

I know of a liberal who was fired from his public school because he was told to leave politics out of the classroom and didn’t listen. Leadership did the right thing on that one and my guess is it happens other places too.

Not all doom and gloom everywhere.

“You knew what you signed up for”

Is anyone on this board arguing that your job is less important than others? Do you want people on here to thank you for your service? You sort of created this comparison on your own.

Didi I say all teachers?

No.

The vast majority of teachers?

Absolutely.

Here they are just yesterday…
