finding a just shirt or sweater for my 13 year old that isn't cropped is a chore
I got my first taste of this this weekend, I stopped at Academy with my kids to get them some LSU shirts, pickings were pretty slim. I found one that was in my little girl's size but quickly realized its was a crop top. She's 6, who's letting their little kids wear this crap?

As a Christian mom, I can say it's almost impossible to find nice Homecoming and Prom dresses that are both youthful and modest. Their school required prom dresses to be approved by administration most kids dressed appropriately.
The biggest issue was Homecoming. The dresses in the junior department are super short almost without fail. My oldest daughter is fairly tall, and we never bought a Homecoming dress for her from the junior department because it would show everything on her. We tried to target the women's department because the dresses there are several inches longer.
I feel like we managed to find modest dresses most of the time, but a couple of dresses ended up being tighter and shorter than I would have liked (although they still high mid thigh and covered everything well).

Young girls being sexualized. I feel the same about the cheerleader uniforms. Why do they wear these bra tops? The adults in charge should not allow it.

I'd say that the root cause of this issue and many others with kids these days is parents not parenting and being too friendly with their kids. Your job as a parent is to do what's best for them and prepare them for the real world, not try to fill a hole in your life by creating a "little bestie" or "mini-me".

Is there something shameful about the body of a female? I don’t think so.

I fricking loathe all these click bait bullshite titles
I don't see what your issue is, the actual content is described in the headline so you DON'T have to click it.

It should straighten itself out once the Muslims take control and rape gangs are roaming our cities.

I went to the Baylor/TCU game and was aghast at some of the dress there.
I'm not under the impression that all of the co-eds at Baylor are Christian, but most would say so and if I saw them dressing that way they would have a one way ticket to BYU next semester.
i'm not a prude. i can appreciate the female form, but a bunch of 19 and 20 year olds with their butts hanging out is not good for society.
last year my son there was chasing a few of the instahoes and he went to a lot of sorority events with them, but this year he seems to have settled on a beautiful little mid that dresses modestly and is a nerd.

These ‘conservative’ views are sounding much like those of Mideast Muslims and those that have immigrated here. Would these ‘conservatives’ prefer the girls or their mothers to be whipped in public, or, both? Would that elicit their erections?

Shane Gillis is warming up his next SNL bit.

Obviously, not the father of a young lady.

What a pitiful guilt by association fallacy attempt from you.

Wife works retail. A bunch of little girls' swimsuits came in that were very cheeky. She put them in a box and shipped them back. Never got into trouble.

What kills me are the moms that quote scripture every chance they get on social media pages then spend thousands on photos of their 13 and 15 y/o old daughters made up to look like 20 something ingenues to plaster all over Facebook. That's not inherently Un Christian, I suppose, but it's just odd to me. (as a father of 2 girls)

I have a 16 year old daughter and I am not aware of anything about her which is shameful. She is a fine young woman and will occasionally wear something that I would not select for her but she is fully aware of what she is comfortable with, if I try to make her comfortable in MY view that is just a little bit creepy at best. And, again, at times she has worn things I didnt think she should and she wasn't comfortable with it after leaving the house and did better....without me making some comment about her body at all. This happened because she ain't stupid, she is young.
