None here. Mortgage paid off a few years ago and try to live debt-free.
I grew up really poor, and I have a strong need for financial security. Debt stresses me out.

We visited there this summer. We went to Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, and obviously the cemetery. We were chaperoning a group of students, and it was so great to see these young people taking the time to learn the truth about history, but it also hit home that many of the young men and those grades were the same age as those students.
At cemetery, we did a wreath laying ceremony and they played Taps and the Star-Spangled Banner. I get emotional just writing about it. Nothing can fully prepare you for the sights of all of those graves while listening to Taps.
While you're walking through Pointe du Hoc, one of the biggest brightest rainbows I've ever seen emerged over the cliffs. Once again, just a completely emotional moment.
Bring something with you to collect sand at Omaha Beach. Since we were with a group, we were only able to stay for a day. I wish we had more time.

As a pear-shaped woman, I am so glad wide-legged pants are back. They elongate my legs and make my body look proportional. They key is a fitted waist and fitted top. If someone wears a loose top, it just looks sloppy.

Why do you assume we haven't? Just because people disagree with a stance doesn't mean they aren't knowledgeable.

He doesn't require a lot of sleep. I find people like that really fascinating because they all tend to be very accomplished.
My CEO is like that. He reads constantly and is just insanely knowledgeable. I had another friend like that...he was a music exec who ran marathons in his spare time.

Okay.
The negativity is to be expected. Progressives don't feel like parents should have a say in how their kids are educated.
I mentioned before that we put our kids in private school during COVID because we wanted them to have some normalcy (we were also in area that was hard hit by a massive tornado the week before the shutdowns). The local public schools were doing their best, but it was an absolute disaster.
We sacrificed a lot to keep them in private school. My oldest has already graduated and my youngest is a senior in high school so we can only use it this year, but I am so grateful because it gives us some breathing room. There are a few legitimately rich kids at their private school, but it is mainly middle class parents who sacrifice to make it happen.
I was talking to a parent at work yesterday who is trying to figure out how to pay for three kids to go to private school before they get to middle school. She has never heard of this program and was so excited when I told her about it.
Also, the school my kids attend isn't a fancy private school, but they have received a great education. My oldest received a big merit scholarship so college costs have been negligible so far. I don't think she would have excelled in public school like she did at the private school she attended.

I hope it's not true, but I mentioned this possibility yesterday. People assume it's safe because it is OTC, but it can kill you quickly and painfully if you OD.
It's "hurr durr" in the form of a picture, i.e. Joy Reid and Don Lemon are idiots.
He is the nerdy version of Charlie Kirk and has one heck of an intellect. I have always enjoyed watching him.

Yes, because most of them are either really stupid or too afraid to step out of line because their own misdeeds will come to light.

I hope they do realize that you can overdose on Tylenol and once you OD, there isn't much that can be done to save you. And it's apparently an excruciatingly painful way to die.
