Concrete Pilings Transported on I-10

I've been driving to BR from NO for work temporarily for the past month or so. Every day I see from 5 to maybe 15 of these headed towards NO. Anyone know where they're going or what they're used for? Driving me nuts seeing them every day and not knowing. I don't think I've seen any on the spillway bridge so I'm thinking they must get off before then.

the plant that makes them is on I-10 between siegen and highland.

They get off at Williams and go back towards the airport, so I'm assuming they're for all that new shite that's being built at MSY

Concrete pilings for building foundations

Concrete piles for some structure's foundation. Lots of possibilities for where it's heading.

I can't hate on OP. When you commute a long distance each day, you certainly do notice patterns. Wandering thoughts about the reasons probably make the drive a little less insane.

Drive is boring as frick. It's the highlight of my day seeing these long concrete sticks and thinking of the endless possibilities. Who are they for? What do they do? Why do they need so many???

Concrete Pilons
There's a plant in Bay St. Louis that makes them, not telling where they headed.

And it's the worst part of my day being stuck behind them trying to get on the interstate at Highland.

Those look like either 12" or 14" square prestressed concrete piles, used to support (and secure) heavy foundations.

Anything heavy in south LA will likely be on a pile supported foundation due to weak soils and to minimize settlement. For instance, ever notice those big tanks around oil refineries? Last one I designed had 490 of those precast piles under it.

Those pilings are for the new vault the state is building for Tom Benson to store the money from his state subsidies.
