Smaller pile (14" square) can use splices between two ~100'+ long individual piles to effectively yield a pile in place over 200' long.

That is not 1 piece!

Every day I see from 5 to maybe 15 of these headed towards NO.

For the past month I've seen quite a few, seemingly more than normal, traveling I-10 WB around the Crowley area.

Using your definition, a car is not a car, it's pieces of a car!

Drive is boring as frick. It's the highlight of my day seeing these long concrete sticks and thinking of the endless possibilities. Who are they for? What do they do? Why do they need so many???

And then taking pictures and posting on the OT....takes texting and driving to a whole new level. Knowing where you're at though, traffic was probably at a stand still.

Yea, and I even stuck my arm over to the right side of my vehicle to make sure I got the rear view in the shot so no one would suspect me of shenanigans while driving. You got me. I definitely didn't carpool today.

Seems like ppc and timber piles are being used a lot recently. I assume he means they could have been heading to a number of different projects.

I think these are probably coming from Boykin Brothers and heading to Axiall expansion in Lake Charles
