Nailed a bunch of your mom's because of that place.

Only club I ever hung out at during the day. Then went back to condo, dinner or whatever, then returned to the same Club at night.
They built it knowing it would be the everything.

F'king Millennials, it's spit roast. Get off my lawn and go back to playing Fortnite on the PS7 in your mom's basement.
I corrected it before you posted, bitch.

These are the kinds of stories that make my day. Love some good shenanigans.
Another time we were in La Vela and some dude tried to get in with a fake ID. They didn't let him in so he tried to come in the back via the beach and they shot him with a water cannon.
At least that's what I remember...
But then again we were sleeping 10 to a room and drinking all day/night so my memory is hazy.
One time this dumb frick we were with started dancing on the bed yelling raise the roof, raise the roof and his hand went right through the ceiling.

With a cousin that lived in PC, I spent many of night at that and Spinnakers
Picked up this one chick who was their with her friends who didn't want to leave them so we went out to her car parked on the side of the main drag in front (Thomas). Good thing she had dark tinted windows. She was riding like a possessed cowgirl when blue lights filled with windshield. Looked up and a cop was right outside the car with his backside almost against the driver's window. There was a wreck a few cars down. She didn't stop and I wasn't about to tell her to. Just let her ride

I'm 36 so I think that puts me at millennial. We rode bikes that I'd never let my kids ride to . And La Vela will still going strong in my day as well. You must be talking about whatever classification is after us.
No way in hell La Vela was anywhere what it was 10 years later my man. Between 92' - 98' there was nothing like it. You didn't see the Underground in La Vela like some of us in here. I seen the fall off and I knew the glory days were over. Chocolate chips, yellow turbos and blue n whites!!!

All of this. Especially the last part. Good times.

Spinnakers?
Was fun too.
2000-2002 for me. Day drinking, eat, night clubbing, then waffle house at 4am. Rinse and Repeat.
One year I bought Rey Mysterio a beer at the bar during the day.

In the summer of '97 (I was 21) my friends and I got one hotel room at The Holiday Inn on the beach (pretty close to La Vela). There were four of us and two double beds. Debauchery ensued.
I do remember passing out one night after coming back from La Vela and waking up to my friend having sex with a chick in the same bed I was passed out in. She was literally riding his cock two inches away from me. I remember thinking I wanted to frick her next, but I must have passed out again because I woke up the next afternoon with all 3 of us in that bed....
I could go on and on with ridiculous stories from that trip but it would take hours. Needless to say we had the fricking time of our lives....

We went once on spring break in 2010. Not during the day though, at night. Only the main inside bar was open and they were really strict about being too drunk. I got kicked out for just looking drunk (19 year old cfish prolly was). It was a huge letdown, but I understand that was on the back end of its run when to glory days were over

Most of my HS crew stayed at The Summit next door to Club La Vela in 1987. That was a wild week.
I stayed in The Summit last summer. The people watching was wild.
It was sad to see the ruins of that place. It looked so much bigger on MTV.
