Just remember this, "The best call is no call at all". Curiosity will kill em!! Never over call. If he cuts your calls, put it down and wait. Call soft. Learn cadence like the guy mentioned above. It might be 5 min or it might be 2-5 hrs. He's coming eventually. They know exactly what tree you are sitting up against. After he's done with his 1st lady, he's coming. If you aren't a patient person, turkey hunting isn't for you. If you have a buddy that turkey hunts, ask to go with him and listen and learn instead of just going in the blind. But if thats your only option, go get em. As far as calls. You'll keep buying them until you find the sweet 1. Me personally, id start with a Houndstooth glass over cherry pot call. They run easy and sound awesome. Yeah they cost a lil bit but you'll thank yourself bc they are easy to learn on and they are awesome calls. Mouth calls, huh just keep buying them until you find 1 that fits your mouth and you can run it. Good luck..
