The only city in Idaho you could even argue is a major city is Boise and it is probably 5 times the size of Coeur D’Alene and Boise is at best 1/3 the size of Baton Rouge which I think few people would argue is a major US city.

As of the 2019 estimate, the Boise City–Nampa, Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) had a population of 749,202,[3] while the larger Boise City–Mountain Home–Ontario, ID–OR Combined Statistical Area (CSA) had a population of 811,961.

Baton Rouge Metro is 830,480

I haven't been to Seattle in 15 years but back then I noticed how clean it was. Obviously 2020 was not good to them.

Much of San Diego is clean. Vancouver was definitely very clean. If I had to guess, Calgary and Edmonton are both very clean.

The highways are full of trash right now. I-5 and 101 look really bad as garbage clean up has been suspended during COVID. It's a major eye-sore and it's been in the news a lot lately. Also, the homeless camps next to I5 are overflowing with filth.

The Chicago that is usually discussed here is really just the South Side of Chicago. The downtown, Northern and Western burbs are all pretty nice when you make allowances for snow belt roads and dirty plowed snow in the winter.

Yeah, the Chicago suburbs that you see in John Hughes movies like home alone actually look like a really appealing place to raise a family.

Chicago does a nice job of keeping the loop and everything north clean. The alleyway is really the key to keeping everything clean compared to a city like nyc that puts the trash out front.

Milwaukee and DC are also very good about trash pickup.

Philly may be the dirtiest city in America.

Mexico City

No joke...granted I stayed mostly in nicer areas (Polanco, Coyoacan, Condesa) but the streets there were surprisingly clean.

Omaha isn’t a major city but going there for the CWS I was very impressed how clean the city was and we went all over the city when we were there

In Japan it's an honor to keep your city clean. National pride and shite.

Zermatt, the ski town on the southern border where the Matterhorn sits may be the cleanest city in the world. No gas powered cars within 30 miles. When you arrive there to go skiing you think to yourself- this is what imagined the north pole to be like as a kid!

If we are moving internationally Singapore City is going to be really hard to beat in major sites

Yep. Caning of citizens for so much as spitting on the sidewalk will do that.
