Brady showed LSU how to take advantage of Burrow/WR talents. Without Brady 2019 don't happen even if it was lightning in a bottle....Also we had all the same players the year before and we didn't go nuts like we did in 2019. Bottom line is without Brady BDjoe don't get to showcase his talents, we would have run the same shite as we did in 2018 and anyone who disagrees is full of shite and trying to discredit Brady now because he left and don't want to return.

While this is the gospel truth, most on here would rather sip Woody Koolaid!

You’re right, we reserve that for petty cunts!
That happened to stumble into the greatest season of all time, a real life Forrest Gump huh?!?!
Oh look, someone to blame whose not hears anymore!
So explain to me how the guy whose avg recruiting class #14 over the past 3 years is here to save the day. And again, I didn’t say Ed O wasn’t to blame for a lot, but he was a good recruiter, to deny that is ignorance!
You can knock the man for lack of organization, etc. but to blame him for lack of recruiting in state talent and recruiting in general is insane!
The dudes recruiting classes are as follows:
Orgeron/LSU Kelly/ND
2017-7 10
2018-15 10
2019-5 15
2020-4 18
2021-3 9
So how is Ed Orgeron at fault for 2022 recruiting woes when our class was ranked 3rd in the country before Woodward fired him(which has been his MO since he’s been here)?!?! Oh, that’s right, we are LSU fans and we lack the ability to acknowledge that there’s always several factors involved in a situation.
The last 3 years LSU’s class rank avg was 4.0 (with 1.0 being the best), ND’s avg over the last 3 years has been 14.0.
So how exactly is the guys 10 classes behind on average the last 3 years gonna save us?!?!

I kind of doubt he was slinging money around at ND. Could be wrong, but doesn’t seem like the type of program to do that.

Totally, almost as innocent as the Catholic Church!lol

Chalky, you post here way to much for me to believe that!
You know LSU is the greatest destination job in all of life, not just college football.
This city is a real oasis in a desert.
And everything everyone else does is inferior to what we do, it’s just facts bro!

Oh wow, so you’re one of those who can single handedly blame all of their problems on a single source! Nice, must make life really easy when you never have to face reality!

Again, it was in response to the “LSU DC is some elite coveted job”. You can look at those numbers alone and realize it is not the dream boat job y’all are selling yourselves!

Still much better than the last couple of years.

I agree it’s been much better than the past couple of years, but again, that’s proof that the LSU DC job is not as elite and sought after as we try to convince ourselves!

And again to the point, if LSU DC is such a destination job then why did he bolt for A&M?!?!

What you would give to be a part of that 8-5 season?!?!lmfao

We went 8-5 that year, finished 4th in the West and 4-4 in SEC play. The games we lost we gave up: 34, 41, 20, 17, and 31 to ND.

chavis was pretty damn good.

You’re right, I guess I just made up 3rd and Chavisin my head. 2014 had an offense that could’ve won it all matched with previous D’s. Who was the DC in 2014???

This is the lsu DC position. One of the most prestigious coordinator spots in all of college football.

Y’all gotta give this up! We’ve had 1 good DC in the past 14 years. Our last 2 DC were 1 year 1-and-dones. So sell me on the job now: oh, what’s that? We have 5 star DBs who play when they feel like it as long as things are on the up and up. We are not the destination job we think!

When you have bat shite fans that fire a less than two full seasons

Was not under the impression that fans fire coaches…
quote:

We fired a coach mid season 2 years removed from a Championship. Kept him on and let the cancer linger. We ran thru coordinators like shite thru a goose the last few years. We are facing tittle IV sanctions and possible NCAA issues. Baton Rouge is a shite hole. We have a depleted roster with no end in site to the bleeding. You get one season to win a Championship before fans are calling for your head and AD appeases the masses. I think it may be more then on or two things that makes us a hard sell.

This!!!!
Those 14 downvotes are from people who lie to themselves. Travel around some, BR is a shithole, our politics make it worse. LSU football is currently a shite show. High level coaches do not want to come to a place that will more than likely ruin their career for a 10% raise! It’s all easy to see when you take off the googles that had you worshiping O’s shrine last week and hating him this week!

Yeah, we’re getting a lot of late offer 3 stars that nobody wanted while Bama, UGA, and A&M all have composite classes over 300pts, but “trust the process”!lol

Scott Woodward got the job at A&M to bring in a new FB coach. Over his 7 year Aggie career Sumlin only averaged 8.5 wins per year. So Jimbo fired him and paid one of his best friends $75M to fix the problem. 4 years later Jimbo is averaging 8.5 wins per year. And Woodward tried to pay his friend $125M to come here and do the same thing.
So to be perfectly clear Woodward, this guy y’all treat as a God, went out and got the backup plan to his overpaid mediocre original go to and y’all think he’s gonna change the landscape of college FB starting at age 60?!?!
I got snake oil for sale, hit me up!
