re: Central message of Christianity - Andychapman13
The sacrifice of the crucifixion. Chirst choosing the path of a long and painful death to save people of their sin is what Christianity should be about. Sacrificing the self for others. Catholics get this right.
While I am not Catholic, this is right! Resurrection and Incarcerati...

re: Central message of Christianity - Andychapman13
As St. Paul says, we preach Christ crucified. A perfect encapsulation of the Gospel in two words: Christ crucified. The title "Christ" implies the entirety of the divine economy of salvation, pointing to the Father, of whom Christ is the "perfect image," and carrying with it the Holy Spirit, who...

Central message of Christianity - Andychapman13
I think it’s often confused. Grace, charity, forgiveness are all important. But the central theme was the crucifixion. Jesus embraced the ultimate suffering for the good of the world. Suffering is the uniting theme of all the people of the world. When we embrace it we come out stronger and better on...

re: LSU Makes Joel Williams’ Top 13 - Andychapman13
Didn’t get into the details. I had just seen that he was all A&M and then that love affair went away so I thought I’d ask. His coach says he’s just as good as Joel though, regardless of what the rankings say. ...

re: LSU Makes Joel Williams’ Top 13 - Andychapman13
I’m very close to his HS coach and was texting him about this yesterday. He’s coming to LSU unless something drastically changes. Whereas with Major Burns LSU screwed up with his mom early and doesn’t know if they’ll be able to repair that relationship enough to get him here....

The money guys called the shots so it’s not so surprising. They’ve had their “desires” in the past and gotten some and not gotten some, but idk the last time they all pulled their money....

re: Is there any legit science supporting dry needle physical therapy? - Andychapman13
Idk, I go from having muscle strains that limit my running performance to being 100% most of the time. Sometimes it only makes it 75% better, but always an improvement. I am athlete that trains 16-17hrs/week stating this. It also gets rid of my wife’s migraines instantly due to releasing of tense Me...

re: Is there any legit science supporting dry needle physical therapy? - Andychapman13
Regardless of what “science” says, it works and works well, especially if the problem is muscular. My father in law, Ricky Lane, brought it down to the South and has taught everyone who has taught everyone else essentially. He’s the guy that administers it to all of the LSU athletes. I’ve had it don...

I’m 4 weeks out from my first full Ironman. Just did 17.5 miles at a 7:30 pace, with 5x 1mile @ 6:45 built in. Feeling pretty good considering I did 100miles on the bike and a 4 mile run yesterday....

re: Rep Tim Ryan - Andychapman13
The Democratic Party had a chance in Jan ‘17 to make him House Minority Leader over Pelosi and failed. That, to me, was the worst political move a party has made in decades. He’s too moderate and too white to get the support from the party that he needs. However, I do believe he would be the Bill Cl...
