I’m not someone that normally says this but after this trial it’s quite clear women need to just go back into the kitchen and be housewives. They’re too stupid to have any sort of control or power

To clarify, everyone who took the stand, to include her mother in law. Usually in cases like this - school shooters, etc. - a back story is revealed that this person had a history of bizarre behavior.

I've already said I don't think she had psychosis, so take what I'm saying from that perspective.

This is the absolute insanity of some of you women.

This statement about a woman who murdered her three children is insane.

The fact that you are allowed to vote and you nullify the vote of someone not insane is wild.

“By all accounts, Jeffrey Dahmer was a really pleasant guy.”

“Ted Bundy was a lot of fun to be around.”

Those are actual views of the people who interacted with those two serial killers.

Guess we should empathize with them as well.

Why didn't you include her whole quote?

quote:

Not to mention it's just about the saddest story ever. By ALL accounts, Lindsay was a sweet and exceptional mom. She wasn't a Mahjong wine mom, she wasn't out at the club with her girlies having a bunch of "me" time. It's the most horrifying thing to think that someone you know - who is a great person and loved by all - can just snap and do something like this. If she had an extensive history of mental illness, it might be easier to understand, but her acute phase was only a few months.

quote:

This is the absolute insanity of some of you women.

She was noting what several family members and friends, including her Mother In Law, testified at trial.

I'm also pretty sure HouseMom has said on more than one occasion that she should be found guilty.

So you don't think she had psychosis, killed her three children, and still think she was a "sweet and exceptional mom"?

Yeah, if you leave that triple homicide out, she was great

This is turning into the incel board. If you watched this trial, the prosecution couldn't find a single person to say this woman WAS anything other than a wonderful mother to her children PRIOR to this incident. FYI, the word "was" implies the past tense.

I'm probably further right than many of you on this board. I was cleaning guns with my daddy when I still needed a sippy cup. I have railed against progressive feminism, abortion, and man-hating behavior on here many times. Go after someone else.

That's fine. "Sweet and exceptional moms" and "great people" don't strangle their three young children.

Can y'all read words? Seriously. This is what actually occurred in this trial. Do I need to draw pictures for some of y'all? I didn't say anything about me thinking that about her. I don't know this person. I'm referring to an actual televised trial in a court of law where people got on the stand and said this about her.

This case and the support for the murderer woman is so grim it's hard to comprehend.

The women who support Lindsay Clancy are the same ones who have TDS. Women have crossed the Rubicon with this one though. Saying they shouldn't be allowed to vote or that they don't belong in the workplace might have seemed a bit extreme, but now with a huge percentage of them actively supporting a woman who admitted to murdering her kids, everything has to be reconsidered. You can't have men and women both voting when one side might have to be drafted to fight in wars and the other side doesn't, yet still gets to vote on it. It's as if some of them vote for things just to spite men.

Many of them will vote for Gavin Newsom just because he's handsome. Unwittingly they will also usher in Sharia law with their vote.

Threads come and go here all the time about how awful women-majority workplaces are. The drama, the pettiness, the cattiness.

The number of unmarried young men is surging? Yeah, naturally!

The Jack Nicholson thing about women lacking reason and accountability--they couldn't be proving that more right if they tried with this case. Although maybe not surprising when you consider that many of them are single issue voters for abortion.

The murderer woman might be likely to get a hung jury. We are completely lost as a society.

It is irrelevant.

It is a “search for empathy”.

Clancy deserves none.

I actually saw a newscaster (female, by the way) make the exact argument as to why Clancy deserves no empathy, sympathy, or support.

If she truly felt horrendous for what she did and truly thought she should suffer for her actions at this point, she shouldn’t fight the punishment. Clancy should ask for the harshest penalty possible.

Any truly sorry individual who murdered their children would do that.

Again, irrelevant.

I know all of you on here “hold that stance” (with very bold quotations) while, at the same time, showing empathy and sadness for Clancy.

It is an asinine stance to hold.

Like I said, she deserves zero support.

The fact that it's taking this long means we all already know what the verdict will be.

If you can't understand that her husband basically gave her no other choice then there is no help for you.

Ever heard of mental load? No? I didn't think so.

Educate yourself.

Apparently it's not. Since many of the male posters here are losing their collective shite to the point of wanting to take away women's right to vote because someone like HouseMom is being accused of supporting the woman by simply pointing out what was testified at the trial by family members.

But, alright.

It's highly unlikely there will be a conviction, so best outcome is a hung jury so the prosecution can get a do over and get it right.

She murdered her children. She wasn’t a wonderful mother.

History is littered with monsters who were “wonderful people” prior to their horrendous acts.

That does not make them any less of a monster.

And, like I pointed out earlier, both Dhamer and Bundy had many people describing their character as “wonderful”.

And after all that upbringing, you post empathetic views of a child murderer.

Not really much else to say.

Doubtful, given that I've seen her other comments on it. I think it's more shock that someone could have such a 180.

quote:

If she truly felt horrendous for what she did and truly thought she should suffer for her actions at this point, she shouldn’t fight the punishment. Clancy should ask for the harshest penalty possible.

Sure.

Nah, you're just being overly emotional about it at this point because of the women that are weirdly supporting her outside of this board. I think I've seen one woman on this board show any kind of "support" for her as an individual and that's because she thinks the husband did it.
