I googled this place and my goodness, it’s beautiful.
Why hasn’t the Mexican government gone in and cleaned up the crime?
Because Merida in the Yucatan has been designated as the safe space for cartel leaders and their families. I'm not joking. They tend to all get along there and the crime rate isn't high. Kind of like how they've learned to cooperate in Cancun with minimal incidents.

NOLA has officially topped 100 on the year. The number stands at 102, 13 less than this time last year, and 17 ahead of 2021 (as of May 31).

Go Latoya! Go gurl! Remember when they said taking down the statues would help reduce crime? That should be the headline of the New Orleans paper!

Someone should step up and put up a bill board in 1-10 in New Orleans advertising this.

New Orleans is ranked more dangerous than Mogadishu on the global list of dangerous cities. Doesn’t surprise me. It’s a fricking warzone there. “Kill or be killed” should be New Orlean’s marketing motto

Still no ways it’s true. There are like 3 gated communities in New Orleans and you aren’t getting into them for less than a million
At work so bear with me. I will google it back up and post it.

Guessing jackson, shreveport, baton rouge, little rock, etc are too small to be comsidered cities.

There's no possible way this is true. The OT has taught me that NO and BR are the only 2 cities with homicides and no other city has them.
I’m sorry. Are you viewing this list as a positive for NOLA?

I don't really get the outrage. If you have money you live in the nicer suburbs or in the really expensive parts of major cities. I mean how many of us reading this board are really impacted on the daily basis by the higher murder rates in Baton Rouge, New Orleans or Milwaukee or Baltimore?
I'd say 90 percent of us who read this live in the nicer suburbs, out in the country, in small towns or in the wealthiest parts of major cities.

I wonder what political party the mayors are in those US cities.

This needs to be deleted as you are clearly a racist and hate rap. Culture has nothing to do with it. Follow the science.

And Colima,..frick that shite. Think about new orleans being twice as bad, at least.
Then think about how many never get reported to be included in that number

I looked at it a little more today. Something going on with this estate. Doesnt look finished. either someone died in it or it's a repo or something. Wife and I have sent emails to get more info. I retire here shortly and could sell my current home for a killing right now.

It looks like it’s mid renovation and requires a bunch of money to finish.
