Looking at real estate yesterday on the web in NOLA. Saw a house in a gated golfing community. 5000 plus sq ft with pool and three car garage for just over 500k. That home would be 2 mil here in Baldwin county. Saw many houses in the 300k range that would go for at least 750k here. I guess this sort of explains it. High crime, poor schools, horrible mayor and leaders, the sea level thing...etc.

How do the insurance rates compare between the two locations?

Not sure where you’re looking in NOLA because most areas are definitely not anywhere near that cheap.

Imagine living in a city that is 2.5 times more dangerous than New Orleans. Good lord

Might actually be safer for the average citizen. I read an article once about people who cross the border daily. One was a UTEP student who lived in Juarez.

She would see cartels executing people in broad daylight but nobody bothered her.

Link that house here. That’s a damn good investment.

They get the numbers from the citi a, for American cities.

U report ur stats to fbi and they give you fed money.

Chicago used to hide their stats, but they are broke and desperately need the fed money so they announce, even tho they have been busting under stating the homicides

So realistically, those numbers are probably lower than actual numbers

The OT has taught me that NO and BR are the only 2 cities with homicides and no other city has them.

NO and BR have third world crime stats.

Be proud.

Nola is obviously a shothole but where's Jackson, MS? It's murder rate was the highest in the country last year. Birmingham, AL is also missing and its rate was in the 50s.

I googled this place and my goodness, it’s beautiful.

Why hasn’t the Mexican government gone in and cleaned up the crime?

I'm guessing this was in New Orleans East.

The Brazilian cities videos the criminals seem to get shot in pairs so that is probably skewing the numbers.
