Obama waste no time turning this into gun control issue
if one person would have been packing in that church, maybe it would not of been as bad

No one has the balls to ask "What about Chicago?"
That'd make too much sense and be too ironic given where Obama was a Senator.

Well, there is...The Hate Crime legislation is another federal government power grab. Most murders are prosecuted on the state level. It allows the Feds to come in and take over prosecution of any crime they deem a "hate crime".

He made it completely political.
Yep. Sucks that he's using this to do so.
But what do you expect from a man with morals that are aligned with socialists who want complete control of the masses.

Sure it is, but not when
argued against gun control causing it

His dad gave him the gun for his birthday, no?

The response to the Walter Scott incident and this incident proves that Charleston is truly blessed with outstanding leadership.

Of course this allows me to make my usual point that, if I were exactly the same person, except black, I would be pissed off to no end at being lumped in with all the black trash who do wrong things. And it is nothing more than laziness - black skin=bad and so forth. But I would be more pissed off at other black folks behaving badly in the numbers they do and causing these problems for me and the majority of law abiding, decent, hardworking black folks like my hypothetical self in this example.
However, on the other hand - there is a clear difference - other than a few anti-government types - MOST white folks were happy to see McVeigh get the needle and celebrate when Manson is denied parole every time.
OJ's acquittal was applauded by the majority of black folks at the time (or at least a significant plurality) - and he killed 2 white people in cold, calculating fashion.

And the way this guy got a gun is almost uncontrollable. Dad buys it and gives it to son. Beyond that this was not an "assault rifle" but a pretty pedestrian .45 pistol.
So watch out for an even more venomous attack on gun ownership of any kind.

I've never condemned the majority for the actions of a minority, regardless of race or religion.
ETA: But yes, I understand what you're saying.

/u/MrsHeisenberg tipped me off to something interesting. Roof's Facebook profile was made about a month ago, and people who were friends with him on Facebook claim not to know him. This could mean several things, or it could mean nothing. Seeing as the news seems to be slowing down, I thought I'd post this.
