Let's just be clear here - Gov Mengele did not wear black face while wearing plaid pants. He wore black face while moonwalking as a MJ impersonater. Give the douche a break.

It’s most fascinating and terrifying that people like that walk among us. Nothing about Ted Bundy hinted at him being a sociopathic mass murderer. He was attractive, highly educated, well spoken, had a normal and likeable personality with exceptional social skills. The fact that someone like that can systematically murder 30+ people is horrifying.
This is what absolutely terrifies me. Bundy was in the news in 1989 prior to and followings his execution. It freaked me out. In the majority of the images, Bundy was extremely handsome. I had a hard time reconciling how someone that handsome could be the devil. Thanks to Bundy, I haven't trusted a strange man since 1989. I made my daughters watch this. Evil comes in all shapes and forms.
The Aspen sheriff giggling about Bundy's first escape needed his arse kicked.
I had no idea he had a daughter - fathered while he was on death row.
She promised all middle class Americans $500 per month, just because; said it would be paid for by reversing Trump's giveaway to the rich program.
And here we go.

Wow. A thread about Saban being short got hijacked into a Rose Nylund ancestry argument.

Even for a man as accomplished as Donald Trump, I can only imagine that the realization that you are The President of the United States of America would create a moment of solemnity.

The victim’s family said that reports that the woman is in a vegetative state are inaccurate, she has severe intellectual problems but has the ability to move
What does that mean? Ability to move as in walk around and feed herself? Is she cognizant of her surroundings?? This sounds worse than a vegetative state.

If an accountant sat down with these football millionaires and drew a 2nd grade level diagram that outlined then money they make under a Trump tax plan versus an Ocasio-Cortez tax plan; they'd jump on the Trump train so fast it might almost tip over.

re: Did the FBI investigate whether Obama was a foreign citizen?
Posted by HaveMercy on 1/16/19 at 10:47 am to ErikGordan
There wasn't a need to investigate. Even if he was born in Kenya his mother was a US citizen.
Even though this isn't the point of the thread - POTUS not only has to be a citizen, but must be born on American soil.

Ugh, i don't know. This is getting terribly confusing. We've never taken a family beach trip, always Banff, Yellowstone etc but my kids are deadset on the beach. I'm out of my league. On the verge of (oh vey) hiring a travel agent.
I would prefer not to drive at all.
Looking at St Lucia though, some nice places there...

Please Help Me Out - Carrlibbean Family Trip

Looking at a trip in March. 2 adults and 5 kids in their late teens. Where should I go?? Was looking at Punta Cana but the comment on here about Punta Cana = PCB made me nervous, although that Zoetry Agua looks nice... I've got about $12K max.
Here's what I need:
2 rooms
On a pretty beach
Lush grounds, pretty pool
On property stuff to do like paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling, etc
Walking distance or shuttle to shops and restaurants (not absolutely necessary). I would be happy to never leave the property
Some off the beach stuff to do like hiking bc my husband has a very short beach-hang tolerance level and must hike on every single vacation, or else.
Fine dining isn't important nor is a party, nightlife scene.
Would like to steer clear of the huge casino places.
Thanks travelers!!! All advice is appreciated!!

I love this team, these players. Coaches?? Not so much. We need a house cleaning. Also if a coach doesn't guarantee 3 years, no go. Too many coaches taking advantage of the Saban coaching tree then bailing.

frick Mike Locksley. Seriously. Our defense had some key missing players, but our offense put up over 500 yards, they most certainly could have scored 44 points. frick him and the horse he road in on.

And Najee - Najee had some great runs as did Harris.
I still just can't wrap my head around the commitment to the pass. QBs can have off nights, it happens, but when you're running it down their throats, why stick to the pass?? Why?? Why??

2467 acres. I know this exact number because it's all mine now, I'm an only child.
My Dad grew up dirt poor. He started breaking horses for a rancher as a teenager and turned that into his legacy. I could not be more proud. I grew up thinking he was poor - we needed a gate - buy one, no way 3 branches and a few strands of barbed wire = perfectly good gate. That was how he rolled.
ETA regretting I got all up in this thread - I prefer to keep my shite on the down low. But still, square toe cowboy boots are lame.

Nope you are right, I'm a woman. Seriously, I know my cow shite. My dad ran 2000 + head of cattle. He was a legit cowboy. He ran a small herd of Angus, what he called a "gentleman's herd". They were fed and handled on the regular. You could work those herds in tennis shoes. They were breeders, high dollar cows that were spit shined, polished and had pictures in magazines. On the other hand, The bulk of his money came from cows that fended for themselves most of the year on more than 1500 acres with maybe 200 acres of that swamp. Bringing them in in the fall required serious handling.
When I was about 13, on one of these moves, my dad set me and my horse at an open break in woods - maybe 10 feet wide. The cows would be running through - picture an alley with woods on each side then a break in the trees. My job was to keep the herd from turning at that break. Well, my cousin's horse drew up lame so he took me off my horse, changed saddles, looked around handed me two big sticks, said you'll be fine and took off. Well, there I was, in that gap with no horse, 1000 + head of cattle bearing down fast, little ole me and those sticks. Thank God they didn't turn.
So please, no one tell me I don't know the cattle business. There is a ton of shite I know nothing about and I won't post about it, but it isn't cattle and horses.
PS square toe boots make your legs look thick.

I guess I'm getting old - confining vague recollections to the best decade of my youth.
But still, that fricker looks way older than 40.
