Chipotle trying to brand employee replacing robot as a "Cobot"

And frame it as a collaborative robot to work along side humans. I suspect all the poors working at Chipotle wanting to get paid $20 an hour for a living wage will not see the robot as very collaborative.

More robots please. The number of times I walk into Chipotle and stand at the front of the line to order while every employee does whatever they can to look busy and not actually serve customers astounds me.

I never had this problem at Izzo's in BR or now at Bullritos here in Houston.

And this will be a hard lesson for them to learn as to why those demands are stupid. Fast food (for the most part) isn’t meant to be a career or to support families. Not that $15 an hour will either but it’s why they are missing the point entirely.
Cobots are the first step to them being completely replaced. And they don’t even realize it, and won’t until it’s too late.
