Child Rapist goes Off the Deep End

Court records state that Payton Shires showed up to the home of the victim around 5:30 p.m., even though she was not supposed to be there. The victim's mother was not home at the time, but called police after she saw Shires on her porch through her doorbell camera.

The victim's mother told police that Shires had called her and told her that she wanted to kill herself and the victim's mother, because she and the victim ruined her life and took everything from her. The doorbell camera then went down after the victim's mother believes Shires "cut the cameras."
Shires was first arrested on Oct. 6 for allegedly engaging in sexual conduct with a 13-year-old boy assigned to her for counseling.

This bitch was even presumably tested for crazy, right?
Are there that many pedophiles out there, or is there some other problem occurring that leads reasonably attractive women to such a poor choice. It isn't lack of sex, she could have easily gotten that anywhere.
I think truly crazy is the only reasonable explanation here. Lock her up in a mental institution.

I know a few social workers, and they are thoughtful, intelligent, stable people.
