If it makes you feel any better I have $8 million in a Chase investment account. I have been thinking of canceling them because of their woke BS. Your story put me over the top. I’m interviewing others, and avoiding woke BS is one of my key drivers. I’ve about decided to go with a boutique company I’ve been told about. As long as they interview well and are competitive on fees, I’m switching to them.

You have $8MM in a chase account and some random guy’s internet story is making you change your mind. Can this thread contain anymore lies?

still do not believe you’ve told the entire story. You went belligerent, likely said some racist shite, and don’t want to admit it. Now you’re propping up conspiracy about gun and ammo purchases.
Or it’s all made up as he never received their letter, they refused to send him anything and when pressed for for any proof his accounts were temporarily re-opened

Opened new account with local bank. When told the story I was told I was not the first Chase customer they had inherited for no definitive reason. They did ask me if I had made a firearm purchase through Chase. Late last year I charged two handguns and a decent amount of ammo through Chase. No idea if connected.
I’m guessing this update is to cover the “AmeriKaren” tracks of your previous theory (where you reportedly politely asked for someone who is proficient in English—I.e.—“do any of y’all MF’s speak English?”. Now the reason is a gun/ammo purchase.

Why should this matter? This is still not an appropriate way to terminate a business relationship such as this.

Why does it matter?

A bakery would disagree

Nah. A racist? Who posts on Tigerdroppings? I don't believe it.

Hancock Whitney is the way to go if you value customer service.
I was a loyal Whitney bank customer for more than 20 years. After the Hancock buyout, Whitney was definitely not the same. It was more than just a worsening of customer service. The fee structure changed and it was not well-publicized or explained. I ended up closing all accounts and moving them elsewhere.

The OP is telling you the truth. You may not like it but the exact same thing happened to me 3-4 years ago. Chase is as woke as they come. I moved over $10M out of their brokerage accounts to Charles Schwab.
If you are denying what’s going on in this country with our politics and what ultra large corporations are doing shame on you. I’m not trying to sound conspiratorial but just look around and pay attention. Look what they do to Trump on a daily basis.
The ONLY THING I could ever think of was that I donated, through a Chase CC to Trump and to other conservative causes and I got profiled. Now $10M to a trillion dollar bank is nothing but it absolutely happened to me.

Opened new account with local bank.
Only way to go. I learned about 25 years ago that national banking institutes are terrible to deal with. Three years ago my mother-in-law passed and she had an account with Chase and my wife's name was also on the account as a co-signer. There was a little over a hundred grand in the account that was to be shared by my wife and two sibs. M-I-L was living in Ark. at the time of her death but she still owned a house in La. Chase said we would have to get an "amended" death certificate from the state of La. before thy would release the funds. The lawyer called the records office in BR and they said there was no such thing as an amended death certificate. It took over six months and a threat of a lawsuit from the family's lawyer before Chase finally released the money to my wife.
It was a very redassing six month period to say the least.

Charles Schwab pulled all his republican PAC funding and donated it to black universities because of Trumps actions.

That’s good to know. I’ll move out of Schwab now. Was planning that anyway and into a local company. I guess Schwab is woke too. These big companies are sacred of what our government will do to them. Budweiser must have been scared but now they are sorry and scared. I don’t get it really.

So where is it safe? Seems to be every organization. Nowhere that’s not woke.
