The man was obviously very gifted at his craft, but let's not pretend he was a unicorn at debate or public speaking.

I was watching some random history lecture on youtube last night, and I was just as impressed with the speaker's proficiency and specifics of his obscure subject as OP probably was of Kirk. This speaker was rattling off all kinds of info without any notes. If you are passionate about something, it's easy to remember it and recall it.

which is why he made it his point to go to colleges. The brainwashing has gone on for far too long.

Where are all the other 31 year olds that had a major hand in winning a Presidential election? He was so much more than what you're trying to spin it as, and I don't really see the point you're trying to make,

Nope. It means that in the worst case there are 80 million just as intelligent. That would be the case if he was in the very bottom of the 99th percentile. There could be as few as zero people as smart as him if he was at the very top of the 99th percentile.

Yes, the OP called CK brilliant. But the intent wasn’t to reduce Charlie Kirk’s impact to just his intelligence or debate skills. In the grand scheme of who he was and what he accomplished, those were simply his most effective tools.

For not graduating college and only being 31, that guy knew the Bible and America’s history better than 99% people

This is very true. He was making a difference. Teenagers had a choice that made sense to them.

doubt Robison was that much of a thinker but Kirk's murder is a shame for more reasons than one, the conservatives, and all "parties" need to develop some strong, young, new leadership, how many past elections in a row have we not really had much of a choice but to vote the lesser of two evils?

He was more than brilliant. His memory for details and VAST sums of research was unparalleled.

He was of singular intellect.

Liberals hated him because he was able to debunk pretty much anything they had right in front of them during the debate.

Charlie's real skill was his ability to turn people's arguments around on themselves by taking it to it's logical extreme. For example,

"So tell me more about that?"
"What do you mean by that"
"Don't you agree that _________?"
"Ok, let's play this out..."
"Explain this to me..."

It's a very savvy debate style.

True. But is more about the message he was sending teens and gen z. It was a political message but it was filtered though the Gospel. Ultimately that's why he was killed.

The fact that this has 61 downvotes is sickening and proves how much of a failed state we live in.

He had the demeanor and patience of someone completely comfortable with and confident in his own beliefs and opinions. You don't have to think like him, but aspire to be as secure in your beliefs as he was. If someone disagrees with you and it enrages you, it just means you aren't sure you're you're right. Or you're sure you're wrong.
