Humans drank raw milk for about 10,000 years and have been pasteurizing it for about 70 and it's in the last 70 that our health has gone to shite.

That would get you brought up on truancy charges in Lawrence County, Tennessee now.

It would also make the national news cycle for a few days until Epstein suicides himself again for the spotlight.

Meh…it is well known that raw milk harbors bacteria and can cause outbreaks of various illnesses. People should make their own choice to drink it or not…and accept whatever risk results from their decision.

Time to take responsibility for our own actions.

Yea 100 people get sick from drinking raw milk per year but 100 people per year die from eating raw oysters.

Uh... Not quite sure why knowing stats on eating raw oysters would motivate anyone to drink raw milk.

Just pointing out some people get sick from drinking raw milk and it makes national news. Oysters actually kill that many people and nobody really cares. Just an observation. I still eat oysters.

It is absolute garbage food. How a supposed Italian joint can make Italian food with no taste/flavor is beyond me. They don't believe in salt, and as a policy they don't salt their pasta water so they can get a better warranty on their pots. It is just bad, bad food.

Yep....if a virus does come along that spreads fast and has a mortality rate of say 5% or higher, kills kids...a nasty bugger of some kind....and we really do need to act fast to contain....we are fricked.

Yep that’s the exact reason everyone’s health has gone to shite, pasteurized milk. (And it’s been longer than 70 years)
And ironic since human life expectancy increased once we were able to treat bacterial or parasitic infections caused by things like raw milk.

one of these is also measured in dozens, so the math is probably closer than you think

I would think the amount of people who consume each would be a bigger factor?

I assume.. So someone correct me if I am wrong, but there are probably a lot more people who eat oysters.

Yep...Our family raised jersey cows for 50 plus years and we drank it from the cow with no issues. You couldn't pay me drink it from a store.

True but really need to know how many people consume raw oysters vs raw milk to really compare them.

yeah, people are no longer dying of diseases such as smallpox and measles. Polio is no longer paralyzing people. Yeah, our health has really sucked the last 70 years, never mind increasing life expectancies.
