I just saw a video yesterday of the "Where Them Fans At" line dance. It does look sorta fun and I can see why some ladies would be disappointed to not be able to bring fans on the cruise. I have to guess that Carnival's issue is more with the size of the crowds at these line dances than with the fans themselves. In an appropriate space (like the video posted in a gym) there's nothing wrong with this. Cruise ships, though, have a lot of safety issues to consider.

I remember seeing a video on Twitter that someone posted, and it was like a giant ghetto party. It looked like the dance scene from Coming to America.
I couldn't believe that Carnival allowed basically a full takeover of their ship. And it wasn't like there were only black people in the ship, there was a bunch of concerned and pissed off people that just wanted a relaxing day by the pool.

I’ve taken 1 cruise in my life and will never do it again but +15 drinks is about the only way I think I could make it through. All the rest is a good idea.

I have taken 2, one was a year long in the Navy in Bahrain, and one to take my mother whale watching in AK. Don't want another.

If those changes are actually considered racist by blacks then maybe some blacks’ wanting to bring back segregation for black safe spaces is a good thing as long as others can equally have their own safe spaces away from broken urban black culture.
Free blacks who have broken away from that broken culture and are off the Dem plantation would be welcome in that safe space as it’s not about race but segregating broken and trashy behavior away from non-trashy behavior.

I expected wayyy worse. Acutually kinda cool. But I understand Carnival trying to curb ghetto behavior.
Wonder if they are having a harder time finding employees than other lines? You know it can't be fun dealing with what comes with that as housekeeping or a waitress.
