Both are solid gifts. Avoid the mongoloid answers. 90% of these guys want a camo flask or a fricking lighter shaped like a bullet with their initials scratched into it.
Those ties are the shite. The umbrella is kinda meh, but something along those lines would be good. A nice overnight bag is always usable.

This is a great bonding experience with the groomsmen.

That's fricking lame.
Anyone who wouldn't want an extremely good umbrella that will last a lifetime has never had a date with a woman in the rain. I'm sure they all use hefty bags.

The tie. It's something I wouldn't buy, but would appreciate.

I've never heard of either of these companies.
Who gives someone an umbrella? Umbrellas are one of those things that everyone has, but no one has ever purchased.

i did Tissot watches.... they seemed to like them... some of them didn't know the brand, but were pretty happy with them once i explained the manufacturer....

I tried to buy umbrellas but I didn't have my graduate degree so they turned me away

Buy them knives or julep chalices like a normal southerner and be done with it.

I am pretty happy I don't know what either of these things are.

Umbrella vs. Tie?
I found your wedding pictures, a Capitol idea for the setting.
Good luck Eugene.

If this was a Louisiana wedding and you were buying ties for your baws, a Perlis crawfish tie would be a winner.
