I don’t disagree. I’ve also never been degraded by a teacher. Kinda surprising it seems like a lot on here were told that stuff and think it’s okay.

As for the cell phone stuff, just chalk it up to needing to be better prepared and aware next time. Ask up front if there are any recordings, and maybe take the opportunity to point out how students would get scolded for playing on their phones in a meeting. Maybe ding the school for a counseling session or two.

Follow up with your son to make sure there isn't anything else with this teacher and tell him to forward you the nudes.

Teachers are bullies and wonder why there is so many incidents in schools. If teachers aren’t held accountable and doing this, no wonder why the kids are misbehaving and never getting punished either.

And yeah I’m a guy who doesn’t mind if my kid is an avg C student. I’ll take that these days considering what kids are.

If my kid didn’t have grades above a c I can understand. If my kid caused an incident I can understand. It’s not the case. When a 12 year old asks a question of, why would you say that?, she even said it made her realize she went to far.

Is this coming from your 12 year old, because that seemed to escalate awfully quick based on him just finishing a test early. It sounds like you’re probably not getting the whole story on this one.

I mean it is her job to motivate your kid to do better in the classroom. If she said what you’re saying she said, it was done poorly on her end.

As far as requesting the video, it almost certainly won’t have sound and sometimes they’ll make it difficult to release because there are other minors in the video and their rights are protected.

I’m surprised they have an actual camera IN the classroom. They typically only put those in common areas and hallways.
