Considering you aren't using rep correctly, I'm going to assume you can't.

$1,000 says I can.

Why can't you people read? fricking Louisiana education, man.

"Benchmark of success" is not the same as "not weak".

if you are 6’1 200 lbs ylu are likely fat which is why you are weak. Becasue if that is actual muscle weight you will be benching in the 300s easy

I would not say “easy”. The pec can be sensitive and if you regularly rep in the 300’s you have to be safe about it. You can be shredded at 6’ 200 and only workout with 225-275

I'm 175 and don't think I could do my weight, but I've only been lifting weights for a month or two. I did 8 reps 3x of 140 the other day, which was difficult for me and not up to OT Lounge standards. I'm sure I'll get to my weight at some point, but at the same time I'm not trying to bulk up, but rather just get a little healthier overall.

When I first started working out I had trouble benching the bar and that’s only 45lbs. No way most people can bench their weight.

I would bet the average bench max for an American male is 150 lbs

i don't think you can consider yourself a male if you can't do that.

Currently 197 lbs. I can still bench over 300 with my slowly declining joints.

My max bench was 365 in the early 2000's. I was around 190 then.

I don't understand how a grown man could not bench his own body weight at least once.

1.5x bodyweight on bench press is a very high end intermediate, getting close to advanced bench press. And that's only for people who lift weights. You don't know what you are talking about here

Most grown men have like >20% bodyfat and don’t exercise. Pretty easy to understand.
