One only needs to understand the infantile nature of modern Western women to understand this phenomenon. It taps into their need to “ mother”. Whereas a man might know he’s a fricking predator, a woman might feel like she is nurturing the child. She probably told herself and actually believed that it was “ beautiful “ and “ sacred “ and all kind of current social media level ideas. This ties into all kind of feminine concepts; beauty, nurturing, lack of accountability, irrationality, worshiping youth culture, rite of passage fantasies, and a lot more.

Sounds like the kids didn't want her advances.

This is why for so long we kept women out of power positions.
They abuse it more than men do.
They abuse it more than men do.

I've said it before. As opposed to when I was in school many moons ago, nowadays teachers have internet porn + ability to text, plus cell phone pictures + the ability to text those equals what we have. Some of these women have lost their civility filter which prevents the finger movement that does this stuff.

Most of the time the dudes are like 16 so it's not completely insane.
This cow was abusing 11 year olds, lock her up, she's clearly sick af.

Reading between the lines it sounds like, at least in part, she was sending the boys nude pictures/videos of herself and asking them to reply with photos of them jerking off to her.

Ma also pleaded guilty to a count of possessing material containing a minor engaged in or simulating sexual conduct for sending the boys X-rated images and begging them to send her photos of them engaged in sex acts.
I'm not a teacher, but this is just a guess of the mindset. The vast majority of teach never fully enter a fully adult world. They start in school as young children. Progress to high school as adolescents. Then college as "young adults" (if you know kids in college today you know that most are closer to a child than an adult in mindset). They then enter the classroom spending the majority of their day/lives working amongst children. They have never really been in a world where there are no children. Either as peers or students. So there is not as much of a line of demarcation between the authority figure and child like you would find in a factory, or law firm, or sales office, etc. where it would be very odd to find a child amongst the workers.
In many respect the teachers look at the students as their peers/friends instead of subordinate students. That mindset kind of blurs the line between authority figure and "friend". Then you throw in the fact this is a female teacher spending every day with (here) boys right in the throws of puberty. If you are a guy on here you probably all remember having that one "hot" female teacher when you were in school that all of the guys liked. In school that teacher is almost treated like a "goddess" among the boys in her class, while to the outside adult world she might be a relatively attractive woman, but not someone who adult men are "worshiping" like the boys in school. That feeling of being worshiped probably becomes an ego trip and causes her to blur the line that these kids are NOT her "friends". They are children for whom she is responsible. The 11-12 year old boys probably flirt with her (I know we probably flirted with the "hot" female teacher in our own awkward way when we were in school) and she loses sight of what should be a very clear line of demarcation...which leads further down the path of this....which the ubiquity of cell phones have made it easier for students to communicate with teachers than ever before.
40 years ago the separation between a 24 year old teacher and a 12 year old student was VAST in terms of maturity. Now, I think you are seeing with a lot of prolonged adolescence you average 24 year old has a mindset more in common with a 12 year old than a 35 year old (not initially sexually, but it can progress to that)
I saw it happen with a female 6th grade teacher of my daughter a few years ago. My daughter would come home and say "Dad, Mrs. so and so is so weird. She's mean to all of the girls and way too nice to the boys. She calls them by their nicknames and says weird things". I dismissed it as just a 12 year old girl overexaggerating...until I was a school event where the teacher was present and I observed her interacting with the boy students. It was....weird, to say the least, and everything my daughter said it was. Nothing has ever come out about that teacher, but I remember saying to my wife "I now kind of see how these female teachers end up fooling around with these 12, 13 year old boys." Whether the boy mom's in that class picked up on it I don't know

Jesus, what kind of shite was she sending these kids?
For a 12 y/o to say that, it must’ve been some pretty explicit shite….

Jacqueline Ma, who was named “Teacher of the Year” in San Diego County just months before her arrest, was facing a staggering 180 years behind bars for the shocking abuse at Lincoln Acres Elementary School in National City.
That was knocked down Wednesday when she admitted lewd acts with her students as part of a plea deal that could still see her sentenced to 30 years to life.
So she got some years knocked off the sentence by telling the court "Ooops, ma bad"....
