How much government money were they getting that they are now no longer getting?
Yeah it is an interesting question the second that the USAID money dried up that all these Leftist pet projects are coming to an end.

I don’t understand why vegans or vegetarians want to eat fake meat.
Seems counterintuitive.

The irony of their product is that it is terrible for you. Truly garbage food that just so happens to be not meat.

And then puke up it's partially digested shite
And then lick up its own shite-puke
And then go lick your girlfriend on the mouth and have her happily return the favor while saying "their mouths are cleaner than a human's"
And then kiss you with her dirty dog-shite-puke mouth.

I actually think it tastes really good. I just don’t like eating processed laboratory food.

Most of us haven't and wouldn't, but we're not bragging about it on the internet.

I don't think I've eaten the Beyond Meat, but I've definitely had an Impossible Burger and it wasn't gross. I choose beef, though.

It's just like meat.
Only it costs more, tastes worse, and is actually worse for you.
And this business didn't work you say?

Wow, they came screaming out of the gate years ago when they went public. I know people who made a lot of money on that IPO.
Turns out it's way more unhealthy than just eating meat.

I knew this bullshite wasn’t going to make it during the beginning of COVID lockdowns when people were panic buying everything out of the stores I went to Walmart and literally every single piece of meat was bought out of there except nobody had touched the beyond meat.

Been involved in two dispositions of alternative protein companies is the last 18 months. Insane amount of dollars lost. Almost as much as the alternative fuel market. So much money lost. Most of it unsecured government funds (subsidies)
