The best gift you can give the agent, is referrals.

The agent should give you a gift. At least that’s what mine did. Their gift is the commission

Get her a bottle of wine and be done with it.

And you said female realtor? Did it end up like the documentaries I’ve seen on the hub?

last purchase realtor did nothing. Not even drinks during closing.

Told him after papers were signed and hands shook that word will be out for him to be avoided at all cost as unprofessional....he looked upset.

how was that a clueless answer? A smart agent would continue the asskissing with a home present and try to preserve future bidness.

My sister and her husband were so easy to work with, their agent told them they were the easiest commission she ever made and took them out to a $300 meal

I'm failing to see how that's in any way relevant to this thread.

Didn't get mine anything.... although ours met us on moving day with a card, gift card to bed, bath and beyond and a pizza. Thanked us a bunch of times and mentioned how easy we were to work with...so that was neat

My realtor and seller realtor gave us 1000$ for refrigerator because seller wouldn’t budge... fridge was supposed to stay but she took it but wouldn’t give any money towards new one.

Our realtor also gave us a house warming gift. Can’t remember if we gave her anything but don’t think so

They get a commission for turning a key. With technology (Like Zillow) today there is no reason that business should still exist. Also, while I rant about real estate agents, everyone I know in that business (excluding the commercial side) failed at something else first. The exception is the wife that does it to supplement income.

Agent should buy you a gift. Not the other way around.

Uh hell no. If anything YOU should get a gift from the agent. And if the internet is any indication it’ll be a beej.

its the other way around. Most of my realtor friends buy a house warming gift for their client.
