Thanks for the tip. I'll remember this when I need a fedora.

Necrophilia is on the menu now?

I thought the worst thing I could get there before was the screw in my chicken parmigiana.

There is no accounting for taste.

They are helped by the fact that a lot of other downtown eateries have closed or price out a lot of people.

Still doesn’t change that the food is crap IMHO.

if Little Village is the pinnacle of Italian food for you then it's possible you just have bad taste.

LV is much better than Most Italian places. Not the best, but definitely up there.

I wouldn't consider Ruffino's to be Italian cuisine. More like steak and seafood. And Little Village is ok.

Oh good one. I have never heard a single person talk about going there.

My mom went once just for novelty and she said it wasn't great.

Wonder how they pay the bills.

All that raggedy shite has to be paid off by now. I'm sure it's just wages, electricity and phone.

Not a BR business, but Buffalo Wild Wings. I've been there maybe 3 times and every single time have left pissed off because of the horrendous service. I had to track down a manager the last time and tell him that if he wanted me to pay for my food he better send the waitress back to our table because I was giving her a couple of minutes and then I was walking out. She dropped our food off and hid. No drink refills, no nothing.

The wings there suck, the chicken pieces are pathetic and you could get better wings in a bag in the frozen section at Walmart. The service is beyond shitty. And here's the thing, everybody I know has said the same thing about it.

Jefferson and Lobdell?

It had a decent sized lunch crowd about 15 years ago. Only knew because some of my coworkers that I ate with would go there so they could hit Little Wars afterward.

Pre covid hubs and I would eat at Piccadilly on Florida or Cafe Americain when we wanted quiet. We work in mid city where the good restaurants are packed. Cafe Americain and Piccadilly are still better than a sandwich at your desk.

I don't think I've seen a Mitsubishi on the road in a long time. Do you know anyone that drives one of these things?

I went into Little Wars once thinking it was something much different than it is

I was just looking for fun adult board games, but what I found was massive roleplaying spreads. These people hand paint their own .. uh... characters? Pieces? Whatever. It was interesting.
