Chinese Restaurant (real name) on Nicholson close to downtown. Place was around when my sister was at LSU in 1980. Across from where the glorious Ponchos used to be :(

I don't live in BR, but I took my son there a year or so ago and we had fun. Played putt putt and he played games. It was actually nice.

That area of town isn't what it once was but you probably won't catch a stray bullet at the turn. You could probably rent a hooker nextdoor though.
