Ok, so they bribed 225. Now do how do they pack the parking lot Thursday, Friday, and Saturday every week in addition to the long wait times for pickup orders?

I looked online at the lunch specials at The Little Village on Airline and thought, "OK, these seem reasonable."

So, I took a couple of my employees there for lunch, and the waiter tells me, "We don't do the lunch specials in December -- you'll have to order off the dinner menu."

Really, the lunch specials that they have advertised on their website are all unavailable for the entire month of December.

We didn't have time to go somewhere else, so we ordered the ridiculously overpriced food, and it took forever and my fettucine was cold. Crazy how anyone goes there.

They're the best watch repair store in BR and the customer service is great. They've done battery replacements and shortened bands while I waited. While waiting I've seen a couple of middle aged women asking about ordering higher end watches for their husbands, probably only takes a few of these brauds withe the hubby's card a month buying a gift to keep the lights on

Frostop has a god lunch business there between dine in and carry out.

Much like Poor Boy Lloyd’s, they benefit from downtown having a lot of restaurants that closed and others that are pricey, meaning a $10 cheeseburger combo isn’t bad.

Downtown Seafood’s is better but you can actually park at Frostop.

I don’t want to throw the bullshite flag on you but they said the response was "We don't do the lunch specials in December?”

You didn’t ask why December or anything like that? Or if they had any sort of lunch menu instead of doing dinner menu all day every day? Lunch menus exist for a reason.

I’m not a big LV guy but I’m just curious about this one, don’t take it personally

I used to live in a house almost next door to it. Great location but all the houses were recently torn down.

I will throw one out there, but the reason I am surprised they are still open is location.

Hobby Towne on Airline. They used to have a location on College back in the day, The owners of it live down the road from me, good people.

When I was younger I used to go there with my dad. He worked on model ships and I raced RC cars and I always needed tires, etc, etc..

But like I said, being where it is I am surprised they are still able to stay open.. But the rent is relatively cheap there,

Texas Club, mainly because of where it’s located.

This place has already been discussed several pages back. It's the shite and the family that owns it and works in there are RC geniuses with stellar customer service. Bring your kid there and get them involved in something fun and somewhat educational instead of having their face planted in their phone.

Gotta get off my phone now and go back to work. Lol

Yep. Hobby Towne is the only place where you can get legitimate quality R/C products in BR. There was a franchise store on O'Neal( I forget which company) and they didn't last. Hobby Towne has stood the test of time.

Wasn’t it TJ Ribs where the guy blew his brains out in the middle of the restaurant?

Wait, when did this happen? Is there an online article about it?

Yes, it happened at the Acadian location. Can’t remember when but in the past 10 years or so.

It was a guy who killed someone from the coroner’s office over a matter involving the shooter’s sister.

I was so pissed when I got of age and went in there for the first time and saw the glorious selection of bad arse shite in that building. As a young kid I always thought it was a place like Hobby Lobby with women's crap. My parents held out on me all those years. They also didn't let me have a 3-wheeler because mama thought I'd die by just looking at one. I have 3 now as an adult. Lol

They probly didn’t bribe anybody but I think about 6% of the population voted for “best of 225” so 22.7% of that thinks they’re the best pizza.

Popeye's on Burbank, always too slow in the drive-thru and always missing something on the menu. Today it was the Popeye's Chicken Sandwich and there was no white meat available for regular orders. That's my skid marks you see as I gently moved away from the microphone.
