However I just won't be buying AB products any more, just like I've parted with Nike, and Subway

This is all that's needed. Similar boat for me with Gillette, Nike, and others.

I guess I'm not sure why people are white knighting for the company's financials/market cap when the incident happened last week. It'll take time for this to show up in their numbers, but defending a company saying it's doing fine after an incident like this is just dumb.

It's also dumb to go full retard on virtue signaling. Just stop buying their product (I know I'd appreciate more lists of what products the companies own), switch to something else, and move on. AB just outed themselves as being woke, it should be easy to find a replacement and let them figure out why their sales dropped

Brutal. That dumb count that made these decisions will be fired by the end of the week.

There was an article on here that proved this isn't true.

I'm saying it's funny how you chose one site for the present market cap and also a very carefully chosen date range from another site for the historical market cap. I don't know how your first cap is calculating market cap, but it's clearly different than how every other site is doing it and it's also clear that market cap has been higher for the last 2 weeks than it was the 2 weeks prior.

This is the real market cap history for the past month:

Did Nike back off Kaep? I don’t see much about it. Also, Nike does make a superior product. And the client base is different. Just show some random diverse people drinking and having a good time and all is well, why push a tranny?

This assumes people go back to BL.

The product is not particularly good, so people finding a new beer instead is a distinct possibility.

That assumes that habitual drinkers of BL have higher tastes or budgets for something else. Long term consumer behavior doesn't change much.

Bud Light at its core is an inoffensive, cheap beer with mass availability. People don't like to change their habits of operation much. So for the most part, many will bitch about it and sit out BL for a few months but they'll go back to it when the headlines die down.

Is there really a way - a true way - to quantify this? These anecdotal stories aren't selling me that it's working......yet.

Although there are a lot of them out now.

Just a temporary blip, then recovery. There’s a reason Nike doubles down at every opportunity. Screenshot was taken about ten minutes ago.

Bud Light is trying to go after the Miller High Life/Pabst Blue Ribbon crowd. And a lot of that crowd has moved to the craft beer... But to turn on your loyal customers by calling them "Fraty" and using "out of touch humor" was just stupid.. BL is trying to step away from the "everybody drinks BL" to the "Hey it looks cool to have a BL in my hands.. I am a rebel and stand for a cause" crowd. The virtue signaling crowd...

Some service's market caps are not updated constantly. Just a quick look at the stock price should tell you your posts are bullshite.

The current market cap is 130.87B with the YTD high at 132.28.

Even if it only lasts a couple of months, the damage is done.

They gained literally nothing with their little stunt and lost money. Money that people spend elsewhere.

Trannies don't drink Bud light anymore than they go and watch Disney movies.

They will praise you on social media but that's it.

They don't buy your product.

Literally a lose lose and you think corporations would have learned. Well then again it's progressive white women making these decisions so no they haven't learned and they never will. Any more than Kathleen Kennedy figuring out how to make a good Star wars movie.

It's not gonna happen.

Matt Walsh made a good point. Instead of reacting to the next thing, stick with this at all cost. Claim one scalp and then move on to the next. Not cancel but boycott.

Also, this one it going to sting. They are literally anti-marketing to their core base. Beer drinkers, like tailgaters, fisherman, hunters who might drink 12-13 beers are not drinking IPAs, craft beers. They are drinking light beers. They are giving the middle fingers to their core demographic. Rednecks, tailgaters, etc... This one is going to stick for quite a while.

This is totally different than the boycott of Netflix or Target. There are 100 more light beers to choose from.

They will fail with me. Those two are pretty much all I drink, and now I’ve eliminated the occasional Natty.
