The politics and demographics of Baton Rouge would have doomed it anyway.

that just 100 more people to complain about gas prices each day.

buc-ee's are always 10-15 cents more than other stops

I think "retail C" parcel was going to be the giant gas station. I think Retail A is either Zaxby's or Golden Corral.

Wonder if a Top Golf would fit in that far west parcel??

I think the far west parcel that has not sold is too small for a Top Golf. Good spot for an office building though. I imagine that if Top Golf comes anywhere near Baton Rouge, it's going to probably be somewhere near the Mall of La.

Of course it was the flood. And of course the guy who owns the land said the flood was no factor.

Ever wonder why the second you drive into Texas all the roads are better? And the schools are better?

No I never wonder. I know it's because of the big oil and gas boom in Texas. They have money and know how to allocate it.

There's a large filling station being built at the frost/Livingston i12 exit. Not sure if it is anything special though.

It's not a particularly high end development, but it is still a weird place for a massive gas station. It's not a real fit with the retailers there and it's on the upper left quadrant of the interchange. Usually the fuel stations prefer the upper right or lower left because of traffic patters and visibility.

Aren't they building some kind of rv place over there too? Think i remember reading that a while back.

That's an outdated map. The RV shop will be at the far right and then Richards Honda. Golden Corral, Zaxby's, Dunkin Donuts, and a dental office are in the new development. Apartments no longer are going to be built.
