They lost the ITEP in EBR because they didn’t use a hyphen. They need to respect the community!

This implies that there is anything resembling a thought process involved.

In this case, I think it is their assholes puckering over the realization that the EBRPSS budget is cratering and they just pissed off their biggest supporter.

They should have held this event prior to the EBRSB vote.

Seriously, on a Monday morning? Talk about damage control.

Should have waited for a festival or something. Looks very weak and ExxonMobile really gets nothing out of it besides some minor press coverage.

I would be disappointed if I was not MOVING THE F OUT OF BTR in a few months. So long suckas!

Good God BRs leadership is abysmal. Together Baton Rouge is a collective of morons.

Please baby Jesus... please let my house retain its value for 6 more years until I can move away.

Gravy doesn't think for a second that NBR is going anywhere EVER. He makes his "living" off of the fact that it is the Mojave of development.

NBR citizens could be given the Mall of America and theyd frick it up. Sad truth.

What was Exxon offered elsewhere to move their refinery from Baton Rouge? I am sure some of the cities with competent people running them are sending out invites.

Exxon of Baton Rouge will begin amputating units and starting them where they are wanted.

Out of state. Somewhat a sad moment since I have been here my entire life, but BTR and NOLA are not going to turn it around in my lifetime. My kids are already out of state for school. That was LSU doing with its lackluster offers and it rather snotty attitude until the very last minute. Then they threw gobs of money but it was too late.

Anyway, I will be back often to see my family. If I do move back, it will be at retirement and definitely not in EBR. What a mess.

Did Gary receive a donation from ExxonMobil for his "Black Ball"?

They know that Exxon is make or break for EBR. Don’t know how much a pep rally mends the relationship between a progressive, anti industrial, government though

The denial of the tax exemption was by the EBR School Board. Broome is not on the school board.

I interpret this news about what Broome is doing as an endorsement for the CP Council to approve the same exemptions which the school board denied.
