Why? You act like I post ALL the time. I am in and out throughout the day. There are others who post way more than me.. But explain to me why I need a video game console?

Or are you just getting in on the action in order to entertain yourself?

When someone says "I need to go get some clorox and clean the back deck" they mean they need to get bleach.

Clorox makes all kinds of cleaning products, including wipes, that don't contain bleach.

You can have a bottle of bleach that has no brand name on it and people will still refer to it as "clorox".

Not really. I would say more people say "bleach" whether referring to Clorox or some other brand.

I read on here yesterday where someone said Clorox wipes do not have bleach (clorox) on them. Obviously clorox is the name brand, but is it misleading that they are called "clorox wipes?

You took one of the dumbest posts from that thread and made a new thread about it?

You think there are brands that offer the same quality for cheaper?

Chlorox is brand name that happens to sell bleach. They also happen to sell disinfecting wipes. So no it’s not misleading

Back to the original question, see it all the time in Consumer Reports magazine. They will test things such as vacuum cleaners for example. They’ll have certain brands that are way expensive and a much cheaper one is just as good or sometimes better.

No one says that shite about Clorox, they just say bleach. Clorox isn't Coke or Kleenex. This thread is stupid, but everyone already knew that.

What brands have products that are not exactly as advertised? I read on here yesterday where someone said Clorox wipes do not have bleach (clorox) on them. Obviously clorox is the name brand, but is it misleading that they are called "clorox wipes?

Clorox is the brand. The cannister clearly says they are "disinfecting wipes". The cannister also says "bleach free". It actually says Clorox Disinfecting Wipes.

I don't get the confusion.

No. It's not their fault that people associate Clorox with bleach.
