PONCHATOULA - A Baton Rouge-based pastor was hospitalized after an argument among family members led to a triple shooting Tuesday.
Ryan Hallford — currently a staff member of St. Joseph's Academy in Baton Rouge — was put in the intensive care unit according to Holy Family Catholic Church in Port Allen, where Hallford used to preach.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office said Tuesday that the suspects, 31-year-old Casey Hallford and 19-year-old Armani Williams, were arrested after the shooting in the Toula Oaks Trailer Park along South Range Road.
Deputies said Casey Hallford was in an argument with his siblings when he went to his bedroom, grabbed a gun and shot one of them. The other two ran, and Hallford allegedly tracked them down and shot them as well before fleeing the area.
Deputies said the shooter ran into the woods with Williams, where the pair was caught a short time later by K9 units.
Hallford's other two siblings were released from the hospital Tuesday.

31-year-old trailer trash dating a 19-year-old black queen got into an argument with his 3 siblings and shot all of them before he and his girl tried to run away.

This sounds like an intervention gone wrong.

It’s always fun and games until the priest gets shot.

SJA Names Executive Director of Mission Integration JUL 19 2022 3:26 PM St. Joseph’s Academy announced today that Ryan Hallford has been named to the newly created position of executive director of mission integration. As directed by the goals and objectives in SJA’s Faith Development Strategic Plan, Hallford will lead the development, design and presentation of educational programs and processes for faculty, staff and school leadership formation rooted in the Gospel, the teachings of the Catholic Church and the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph. He will work to integrate the Gospel, Catholic Church teachings and the charism and spirituality of the Sisters into all student offerings. SJA President Jan Rhorer Breen ’69 said that the creation of the new position ensures that the legacy and charism of the Sisters continue for generations to come. She said that Hallford is a natural fit for the position because he has a heart for the charism of the Sisters. “Meeting Ryan, we were struck by his ability to build relationships, his pastoral heart and his deep faith,” Breen said. “With more than two decades of faith formation experience with young people and adults, Ryan will be a tremendous asset in forming leaders, faculty, staff, parents and students in the Gospel, the teachings of the Catholic Church and the charism of the Sisters.” Most recently the pastor of Holy Family in Port Allen, Hallford requested a leave of absence from active ministry, which Bishop Michael Duca granted effective July 1. Hallford earned a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy and literature from Louisiana State University and a master of divinity from Notre Dame Seminary. He also has experience teaching at the middle school, high school and university levels. He said he looks forward to using his gifts and formation to serve the SJA community. “My experiences as a teacher, youth minister, caregiver and pastor have helped me simplify my life plans and realize I want to spend my life serving the family of the Church,” Hallford said. “I look forward to journeying with the St. Joseph’s Academy community as we all strive to grow in our ability to love God and each other.”

Writing is terrible in this article.
You mean Ryan Hallford.
What? You have Casey and Armani. Casey shot Ryan? Then tracked down two other people and shot them. Armani stayed or disappeared, or who knows what happened with her but she got arrested. Then she reappears and runs into the woods with the Casey?

Yes, exactly what it sounds like. The 3 other siblings went to his trailer to confront him about his lifestyle and then he got mad and defensive and shot them.

I think he stepped away a year and half, two years ago, or so.
It seems Bishop Duca let him take leave.
