Go on the dealer's website and see if you can find email or direct line for the GM.
Or blast them in a negative review on the dealership's FB page to see if that gets their attention

You have not been able to register this vehicle with your State of residency?
If not, you cannot legally operate the vehicle on public roads.
Have an attorney send the dealership & the finance institution registered letters addressing that you are denied use of the vehicle and that they better answer the letter.

Was it a legit car dealership or one of those "Texas Auto Direct" scams with cars parked in a random corner lot?

A couple of car dealerships went under in the Dallas area a couple of years ago. Left many people facing your situation.

f you bought it in anywhere other than a very large city, contact the county court house and talk to whoever handles repos. Also the BBB who may not do anything, but at least can / should let you know if this is a standard business action of that company. There are hole in the wall places that sell cars ...repo them...repeat as needed.

This happens all the time. This is why dealerships get a bad rap.
OP, either one of two things happened.
1) The dealership didn't properly send in the paperwork, and they haven't been paid, so you would think they would want to help so they can get paid.
2) They have been paid, and something has happened on the financial end, and the dealership no longer cares.

A friends son dug a giant hole to hide car from repo co. Told them someone stole it. Unfortunately after being deployed in Afghanistan he developed a drug habit,(meth) and when police showed up on property with repo man they noticed fresh dirt and something shiny, apparently he was high when he buried it and thought it was deep enough. I guess buring cars in the country is a common thing? Lol, Kid was a Ranger bad arse.The good part is he got it together went back to school, working & Not On Meth

Not actually. He’ll never be able to title it, hence it’s not his. Someone has the title. It’s supposed to be the lender, but the dealer has to send it to them. People will lose their jobs over a car just going missing. That car is probably collateral for the dealers line of credit, so someone will eventually start looking for it.

File a claim with the BBB and explain your situation in detail. That way the issue has some form of official documentation.

Could be the dealership didn't have the title cleared when they sold it to you.
