Most of the time people make the "location" excuse for ridiculous home prices I disagree that the place in question is really worth the money, but not when you're talking about the Monterey Peninsula. If I were to win the lottery this month, I'd have a home there by the end of the summer.

Yeah. Closer to 3000 sq ft than 2500 and on nearly an acre. Buy the land, put up a house and you could have a $10 million dollar property.
