I worked at Bonanza when I was a sophomore in HS... I went from dishwasher to cooking steaks in a month...

You could get that dinner for like 4 bucks... and don't forget the Texas Toast...

Here's a menu from '79.

Subtle brag noted that you got the upgraded nude version of “Hee Haw”.

You can always tell whether an episode is going to be a comedy by the first few minutes of the soundtrack.

My old man watched it when he was growing up. He liked all of the old westerns, like Gunsmoke, the Virginian, Have Gun Will Travel, the Rifleman, etc. He still watches all of the reruns. I'll watch some with him occasionally.

I watched Perry Mason with my grandma in the summers.

But I watched Bonanza on my own some. It was okay.

Still do occasionally, along with Gunsmoke, Big Valley, etc. Women were something to behold back then.......

I did. Reruns with my dad. Had the opportunity to visit the bonanza ponderosa in Lake Tahoe back in 04' where they filmed a bunch of exteriors including the town, the ranch house, etc... A lot of old props and sets were still set up. At some point they closed it down in the past 16 years.

Think the channel is called Grit over the air. Bonanza, The Rifleman, several other TV Westerns.

I don't remember which cheap steak house it was but just as looked up I saw a guy drinking straight out of a bottle of Worcestershire... Never went back to any of them.
