Eh, lots of these are basically small fundraisers for the schools or districts.

Requiring the newest textbook version when the actual material is all the same and they just change the names on the quizzes.

Movie theater concession prices. I get that it's a business but cheap popcorn shouldn't cost as much as the movie ticket

Wait until you go to a sporting event

Then the kids don’t need snacks, or the adult can bring some in a purse or pockets. You don’t have to be James Bond to pull this off.

I have a feeling that people don’t choose to go to a theater based on concession prices.

Title insurance.

Do you know anyone who has had a title policy claim?

Paying up to 1% of property value for this is insane.

Not even this. You just go on chegg or quizlet and you can find the same question word for word from several years ago.

Even diff authored books have the same questions. So the 2015 version has the same shite as the 2022 version. Unless you are doing tax or something and the tax code changes.

Paying exorbitant Ticketmaster fees for events with them having a monopoly on most venues is my biggest pet peeve (besides the obvious answer to your question, Health Insurance)
