A lower income family of 4 probably can't afford to go see a movie if the kids are going to want something to snack on.

Pig ears as a dog treat. For the amount of pigs slaughtered everyday, a sack of “smoked” pig ears should not cost what it does.

Sirus radio. Had to renegotiate my rate today. Threatened to drop my vehicles 4 times before I was satisfied with the cost I got. Still should have dropped them.

Tipping in restaurants. Why should I pay part of this employee’s salary. They don’t tip in Europe.
Starting wage in Europe for servers is anywhere from 10 to 28 dollars and hour. Mention doing that here and you'll get yelled at for being a dirty communist.

honestly, a TON of frickery has emerged in capitalism. these fees have become de rigeur across all sorts of businesses. we have too many lawyers and now too many bored MBAs
disney is the latest. they used to shuttle people for free and now it's a charge. this after the exorbitant price it takes to get into the place, much less eat. oh, and Genie+, Lightning Lane, VIP... the frickery is insane relative to what it was.

The was an abstract fee when I bought my house. Wtf???
I have no idea what it was for but I tried to offer them an abstract check as payment and all of a sudden I’m the one out of line.

Social security. I mean, it is a scam though. The government calls it a Ponzi scheme when anyone else tries to do anything like it.

Waiters and waitresses in Europe are paid good money and have healthcare. It’s a normal decent paying job over there unlike here so they don’t expect tips.

If they lowered the prices just a bit, more people would go, therefore making up that price difference.
Supply and demand. Obviously they don't have to lower the cost because if they did it would have happened.
On Friday and Saturday nights when there is a big hit movie playing do you really want to make it more affordable so that it will bring in more people?
When top gun came out and they had a packed house, why would their lower their prices?
Customers dictate prices.
