What is your list of the Top 3 states to live in the United States? Considering climate, job market/unemployment, cost of living, geography, schools, etc.

1. Virginia/North Carolina
2. Colorado
3. Washington

Doesn't this depend on what kind of climate and activities you like.

Colorado is probably awesome unless you like the beach and off-shore fishing.

So, what do you like?

Same here. I would consider living in South Carolina, Austin, or Colorado otherwise.
