Lake Charles or around there? I can empathize with you. Y’all have done your time. Hopefully, this one dies off.

Noticed that on radar loop. Looks like she’s going to pass right over Jamaica now.

I forgot to mention one important thing about the flight out this evening, the only reason I knew they had added another flight was because I saw a guy wearing an LSU bucket hat and decided to talk to him and his wife was on the phone with American. So if that fella from lake Chuck reads this board and remembers talking to a guy wearing a PlayStation button up shirt, thank you!

This is completely irrelevant to the thread but I'm just curious as a naive baw who has luckily never been in the situation, how does this work with your original flights? Did you just have to eat the cancellation fees or did you have insurance?

Compare with Petite Martinique from Satellite on Google Earth
LINK

The houses in some places weren't that densely spaced, but I'm trying to figure out where the local fishing boats were anchored out or pulled up ashore.

No, looking at the forecasted wind patterns from each region and determining the timing of each which helps steers the path. I just think it will move further north up the Texas coast than the current prediction.

These southern facing bays on Jamaica (Kingston airport) are going to be interesting to see how they fare through this storm. Not sure this thing is going to weaken enough by time it gets there to tell the difference between Cat3 or Cat5.
