Even though I keep my ice chest inside, that's why I got a YETI.

That’s a BLACK bear.

If those officers would have walked in there and ooggity Boogity BLACK bear, he would have run off.

Must have industrial grade shelves I don’t think my shelves would support a bear.

Probably done by the owner, who is like me, excessively overbuilds shite for the absolute worst case scenario. An example, I built a co-sleeper for my newborn, and my quality check was my big arse laying in it.

You never see stories like this involving polar bears. Always a black or brown bear. Every single time.

:kige:

Beer shelf = check

Bourbon shelf = check

Perhaps you have a human shelf in your closet and have awakened after a night of drinking. Perhaps the bear did the same.

We live about 15 mins from where this happened, and for years we had a tagged bear who lived in/around our yard. He did not give one frick. He'd climb the tree by the deck and hiss at us too.

They aren't all that timid when acclimated.

See this is the Pandora’s Box you open when society turns a blind eye the breaking, entering, and porridge thievery of that Goldilocks hooligan.

Been up in south central Montana last 5 yrs. We've had more black bears, mountain lions, and even a grizzly come thru town this year. No break-ins this year, though. Bear-proof garbage cans work wonders. But, there are idiots in town that feed deer and turkeys and that tends to keep a food source close and bring the predators in at certain times.
