This. This right here. This is why we have such high recidivism rates, people refuse to change themselves and their lives in order to no longer be involved with the people and situations which will put them back in jail.

He says some good stuff, but he also bitches that blacks go to jail because "Ns tell on Ns." So while some of the stuff he says is good ("no white man depicts my own destiny...I was in my own way"), he also bitches about blacks telling on blacks and sending them to jail. And that's part of the problem.
