All of us between Catholic High and St. Joseph's are still down. I could do this pretty easily if I was on my own but I am looking after my hobbled mother who just had foot surgery and her fat spoiled dog. It's exhausting worrying about other's well-being while in your care. Makes me think twice about ever having kids lol.

There are quite a few trucks working on Jones Creek, kind of near the Lutheran church.
Some houses in the area just got power within the last 15 minutes.

Is this first hand or second hand info? If known, any mention of if this area of repairs will power any of the Bluff Road area?
The linemen directly said this to an HOA member who told me. Now, the linemen aren't Entergy guys, but from Illinois, so I'm sure there's a chance they aren't exactly clear on what grids they are working on. They are just physically fixing the lines/poles and then Entergy comes in to determine turning the power back on

Doesn't feel like much is happening for Santa Maria... No trucks anywhere in site or on roads in.

Green Trails in 2016
Our power went out on Parkside in 2016, I grabbed like 4 empty gas cans from the attic and raced to the Circle K on Farrell. Power was back on by the time I got back and the wife (no pics) told me that it cam back on as soon as we pulled out of the driveway. So we lost it for maybe 15 minutes.

What happened to Entergy giving estimates today ?
Posted on 9/2/21 at 4:47 pm to BilJ
I think they said estimates won't be updated until the assessment is completed some time today. I assume that's the holdup.

Anybody else in Southdowns have power the last couple of days but lost it a few hours ago today?
